friends of jon
Through the DeKalb County Community Foundation, Friends of Jon is a Donor Advised Fund founded as a tribute to the life of Jon Wrenn. Jon’s siblings, the creators of Friends of Jon, approached me to design a logo that embodies three central ideas: Jon’s optimistic personality and spirit, the support he received from his family and friends, and accessibility advocacy. Inspired by a photo of Jon’s sister, Pam, pushing him in a race, the logo evokes feelings of positivity, triumph, and whimsy.

hygieia
In the spring semester of my junior year of college, the main project for my Intermediate Visual Communications class was to create and design a visual identity for a fictional personal hygiene company. Named after the Greek Goddess of health, cleanliness, and hygiene, Hygieia is a fictional soap bar company offering affordable all-natural and cruelty-free products. The brand and visual identity center around feelings of tranquility and luxury, which are displayed through minimalist design and a muted blue color palette.

nielsen farrier service
summer 2020
The owner of Nielsen Farrier Service approached me to design an original logo for the company with one goal: to create an unconventional logo that would stand out from other farriers. After a few rounds of concept brainstorming and development, we landed on a design inspired by his first horseshoe and his family’s horse, Lexi.

charteux bakery
During my Image in Visual Communications class in the spring semester of 2020, one of the projects was to sketch and design a logo for a fictional company using an animal. After selecting a bakery for my company, I pondered what animal to use, eventually deciding on a cat. Cats curl up and relax in a shape that looks like a bread loaf, which inspired the look and feel of the logo.
